Earth Day Cleanup 2022

In celebration of Earth Day 2022, 65 volunteers from PCPC plant personnel, Barangay Nipa officials, and members of the Multi-Partite Monitoring Team (MMT) participated in the road and coastal clean-up activity on April 22, 2022.

A total of 212kg of waste were collected, comprised of recyclable bottles, and residual wastes such as plastics, styropor, and rubber.

The annual clean-up activity is part of PCPC’s Project Baybay, a Social Development Program focused on cleaning up the baybay, or shoreline, which bounds the community where the power plant resides.
