Misting in Community Aimed at Preventing Dengue Cases

In partnership with Leads Environmental Health Products, the “Iwas-Dengue Awareness Program” was held on September 6-7, 2018 in Sitio Puntales, Brgy. Nipa, Concepcion, Iloilo.

With the objective to prevent and control dengue cases in the barangay, the orientation workshop was supported by more than fifty (50) households in the area while close to 100 households were the identified beneficiaries of the misting* activity.

(*Misting is one of the methods used in eradicating pests such as mosquitoes that are hiding in the surroundings.)

Representatives from the Municipal Health Office headed by Dr. Bea Camille Filaro, supported the said activity through their attendance and supervision.
