FacebookPCPC Bright Scholars reaffirmed their responsibilities by signing the new guidelines of their scholarship program during the Scholars’ Meeting and Orientation on April 23, 2018.
The new terms in the guidelines entail their participation to the Scholars Development Training which is a program comprised of coaching, hands on exercises, and rendering of service at the power plant site.
The said meeting includes a session for the scholars’ parents aimed to help them understand the role they play as the guide of their children in maintaining their scholarship and towards their success as college students. An orientation about the power plant was also discussed.
At present, PCPC has seven full scholars, all residents of Concepcion, Iloilo, the power plant’s host community. Four of them are studying at University of Iloilo while the three are from Western Institute of Technology.
